According to Huawei Central, the company has officially unveiled the MateBook 14 HarmonyOS Edition, a sleek ultrabook that signals Huawei’s growing determination to build an ecosystem independent of Western software. It’s not merely a laptop launch; it’s Huawei writing its own operating-system poetry.
At first glance, the MateBook 14 HarmonyOS Edition looks anything but ordinary. Huawei is clearly targeting younger users with a more playful design language. The laptop comes in Wild Green, Cherry Blossom Pink Gold, and Space Gray, with the green and pink variants featuring eye-catching circular keycaps. Yes, typewriters just got a cyberpunk promotion. Measuring only 14.5mm thin and weighing around 1.33kg, it remains impressively portable without sacrificing a premium feel.
The display is where Huawei flexes a little.
